IO Hawk Invest GmbH - founded in 2003 - develops innovative means of transportation in the field of electromobility together with its partners. All IO HAWK models are designed at the Krefeld site and are subject to continuous further development and improvement by our team of designers and engineers. We want to make a difference and we love all alternative means of transportation related to electromobility. - 2015 - Initially intended exclusively for the logistics industry, the phrase "Look what your boy just got, brand new, this is called the IO Hawk" by Justin Bieber shook up the whole of Hollywood and overnight the IO HAWK ONE hoverboard, which was shown for the first time at the time and cost 1500 euros, became a coveted object for countless stars. In 2017, we presented the world's first off-road hoverboard with our IO Hawk Cross and showed the world the first hover skates in May 2018. In the course of the legalization of electromobility in Germany, we were the first manufacturer in the retail sector to receive the general operating permit from the Federal Motor Transport Authority for our eScooter model Sparrow on 21.06.2019 and just 5 days later, on 26.06.2019, we received the "GO" for our Exit-Cross model, the only legal off-road eScooter in Germany. We are now the market leader in Germany with our high-end eScooter models, as we develop high-tech electromobility in the luxury segment. We are one of the few manufacturers in Europe to have our own production line in Krefeld, where the individual models are refined and supplemented with "Made in Germany" components. International activities, development, customer service, marketing and sales are managed from the Krefeld site. With the head office, the warehouse, our logistics center, the numerous flagship store partners and our branches in Changzhou and Ningbo, we have our finger on the pulse, are internationally networked and broadly positioned.
