Why is the Elite X so special?

With the IO Hawk Elite X, we wanted to create a product that sets a new market standard. Our aim was to develop an innovative battery solution that can be used not only to power an eScooter, but also for everyday use. Combined with an optional solar panel, your Elite X can be charged in a climate-neutral way. 

With the USB-C power bank option, you can charge all your smartphones on the go. It is detachable and easy to take with you on all your adventures.

Imagine parking your scooter in the garage and simply carrying the battery home to charge it. Speaking of charging: You have the option of charging directly on the battery with 2 ports and 2x 4.5 amps = 9 amps, or you can connect the charging cable directly to the 2 ports on the scooter. The Elite X has a total of 4 charging ports. One charger is already included in the scope of delivery, another one can be purchased as an option. Ideally, the battery is fully charged again after approx. 160 minutes.

You can take the portable battery with you to charge at home or at the office. As we often encounter situations where no power outlet is available, we have provided you with a battery that can be charged with solar energy (We will offer 2 types of panels: Home and Travel which will be available at a later date). In addition, the battery locking system provides an additional safety function for the battery. We have also saved you the hassle of losing your key, as the security lock comes in the form of a combination lock.

Equipped with 2 motors with 1000 watts each, adjustable front and rear suspension with a click, as well as front and rear indicators and a range of up to 100 km thanks to its 25 Ah battery (LG cells 21700), you are guaranteed to get anywhere. At the front and rear, we have combined adjustable hydraulic suspension with traditional swingarms to optimize the scooter's shock absorption (165 mm suspension at the front and 145 mm at the rear). These ultra-efficient suspensions have been further optimized on the Elite X, because you now have the option of adjusting the front and rear suspension to your needs - with just one click. All this leads to an unprecedented riding experience. You will love it!

The 11-inch off-road tires from CST offer ultimate grip in all weather conditions. Say goodbye to a flat tire, because the tires have another special feature: they are self-repairing and tubeless.

This powerful electric scooter is equipped with 2 first-class hydraulic brakes. But that's not all: at the special request of our customers, we have also given it a third brake, a so-called eBrake.

After intensive development, we are delighted to show you our first patented premium Elite X hyper eScooter. The entire eScooter was developed by our in-house team of experts and will be launched on the market in the fourth quarter of 2023 (December).

The eScooter has an NFC key lock system to prevent theft. It has outstanding features that make it one of the most elite scooters on the market today. Its first-class features and stunning design awaken a youthful spirit in every rider. You have a choice of 4 colors: black, yellow, red or green. Or you can customize your vehicle with the soon-to-be-available optional side panels in 4 selectable colors. Whether in summer or winter: The wide tires allow you to ride over asphalt, forest paths, grass, sand or gravel all year round, because with this powerhouse, this is no longer an obstacle. We guarantee use in accordance with IPX6 splash water protection and all internal components are specially anodized to protect against rust and water. If water does get into the housing, it drains away through specially positioned drainage holes. With its high-strength body frame in combination with double suspension, the Elite X is perfect for urban terrain and off-road routes. Thanks to the full-suspension body, the scooter is not afraid of stunts and jumps. The innovative front and rear suspension ensures an exclusive riding experience - whether off-road or on asphalt: the IO HAWK Elite X not only masters kerbs or tree roots with flying colors, but also cobblestones and potholes and is also perfectly suited to any body weight thanks to its adjustable suspension. We promise: The e-scooter glides over every bump as smooth as butter - and that with a rider weight of up to 160 kg.

The extra-wide tread with additional rear footrest ensures optimum stability and support when cruising, even at higher speeds. The built-in indicators at the front and rear make you visible in traffic. The eScooter also has an audible blinker signal tone. The rear indicators are protected from damage caused by stepping on or falling over the scooter by a rubber protective cover and can also be moved in all directions, so that you can reach the indicators with your foot without having to worry about them breaking off. With the front and rear indicators and the very bright front light with 100 lux, the IO HAWK Elite X gets its rider safely through traffic at any time of day. 

The Elite X is equipped with a simple 1-button folding system with double lock, which allows you to fold your scooter easily. The handlebars of the Elite X can also be folded in a few simple steps. The scooter has a large color display, which we have arranged crosswise. This, together with the additional app (available in the Android & Apple Store), has numerous setting options such as setting the acceleration method (kick start), the initial acceleration method (soft and strong), navigation, community board and much more. We have asked our customers and are happy to respond to their wishes: You can precisely control the speed using the new twist throttle. This ensures a relaxed riding experience without tiring your fingers. The display informs you at all times about your current speed, your current riding time, your current trip (kilometers ridden since switching on), the battery voltage in volts, as well as the total kilometers ridden on your premium scooter. A horn on the handlebars allows the user to draw attention to themselves if necessary and not be overheard - an advantage in noisy city traffic

Speaking of speed: the all-wheel function of the Elite X with its 2 motors lets you experience scooter riding in a new way. The grip generated on the road and the acceleration of the 2 motors make the Elite X even more powerful than anything you've seen before. We guarantee a peak power of more than 2000 watts. Guaranteed to get you up any mountain! Not in the mood for full power and want to increase your range a little? No problem: you can switch the front wheel motor on or off as required using the additional switch on the handlebars. This gives you up to 10 km more range. Of course, the Elite X also has a professional battery management system (BMS). The key to the longevity, efficiency and reliability of lithium batteries lies in the permanently optimal interaction of the individual cells, modules and packs.

The non-legal version of the IO HAWK Elite X is powered by up to 2×1000 watt motors and can therefore reach a top speed of over 60 km/h. (not approved for use on German roads)

In the legal road version, the scooter has 2×1000 Watt motors for Germany, which are also available in a 25KM/h version for individual countries in Europe.

The Elite X is a product close to our hearts and we developed the eScooter from the ground up over several months.
